About Me

Hi, welcome and thanks for visiting my site.  My name is Hanlie, I’m 38 years old and live in Cape Town, South Africa.  I’m happily married to the incomparable Craig, who is 41.  We are trying to have a family.  But I am fat, and this affects my hormones, while Craig’s sperm morphology (shape) is not so great…  This has prompted us to embark on a journey towards perfect health and fertility, naturally.  I have quit my very stressful, and ultimately frustrating job, and am now fully devoted to healing my body through exercise and diet, and my mind and emotions through inspirational reading, affirmations and meditation.  And Craig?  He does what I tell him to do…  This is the story of my journey…  A  journey that I am sure will lead me to far more than babies…!

In January of 2008 I started an exercise program and on 1 February I started an 80 Day Juice Feast, as described on the Juice Feasting website.  I am doing this to break my addiction to unhealthy food, to detoxify my body, to connect with the foods that nourish me and to heal and repair my body.  After this, Craig and I will be following a very natural, predominantly raw lifestyle, called The Natural Way.
