I have just learned that Jen’s mother was fatally injured while out walking yesterday. She died on the way to the hospital.
I’ve never met Jen and I never met her mother, but I got to know them both through Jen’s blog (Prior Fat Girl), where her mother was a regular commenter who entertained us all. She was an incredible mother and it comes as no surprise that the last thing she did on this earth was to save the life of her grandchild.
I can’t even begin to imagine the pain and confusion that Jen and her family must be feeling right now. I can only cry for them and carry them in my heart during this difficult time. Please take a moment to do the same. One of us is hurting.
Jen, I am devastated for you.
