I’m not on speaking terms with my scale…  It’s stuck!

But that doesn’t matter, because my clothes are hanging from my body and my family all commented on my loss yesterday…  It’s becoming noticible now!  So bugger the scale!  I’m going to ignore it for the next few weeks…  I’m getting thinner, if not lighter!

My exercise is going well.  I did 670 minutes of intentional exercise from Monday to Sunday last week.  That’s 80 minutes more than the previous week.  I’m loving every minute of it!

My longer hair became too much of a hassle in this heat and with all the sweating in the gym, so I had a haircut today.  I’ll get Craig to take a picture later…

How did your week go?

yoga is how I always know if I need a hair cut

80 more minutes is a lot – it is as if you found one whole extra day – good for you!

cant wait for pics!!

Damn scales. But I like your comment — thinner if not lighter. :)

I think you are doing wonderfully. Best wishes on your minutes this week. I am sure you will reach your goal and even surpass it!

I REALLY want to cut my hair right now but I’m letting it grow for a bit…….in April I will decide if I want an angled bob or to keep letting it grow ;) It’s been short for years!

You are kickin’ butt on the exercise. I will weigh in tomorrow. I took my scale to my grandmother’s to get it out of the house…starting to get obsessed. I go to her house every Tues morning to help her shower, so I will weigh in then for the time being. Mine was stuck earlier this week but my clothes feel so much loser the last couple weeks. I have no idea what’s going on!

Can’t wait to see your haircut :)

Well blow on the darn thing or something! :) Better to be stuck than moving upward.

Good attitude (and strategy) on your part to focus on all the successes you have going on. No one needs a silly piece of machinery to tell them whether or not they’re doing well. Keep up the great work!

I am going to have to get myself cheerleader pom poms or something with the amount of cheering I do for you! Well done! That is a huge amount of exercise.

That is wonderful news. I rather take the comments from those around me then the scale who can’t speak back.

Have a fab week.

I just realised that you are from Cape Town. I am also from Cape Town. I live in Somerset West where about do you stay. It is so nice meeting someone who is closiesh.

You are so right — sometimes scales lie, LOL … I watched Biggest Loser for the first time ever a few days ago and one of the contestants said “the scale doesn’t lie” and I immediately though — YES IT DOES! Scales do funny things … I’ve been meaning to blog about it myself. Good for you for ignoring it for awhile!!!

And woo hoo for you on all the exercise!!! It feels great, doesn’t it!?!

And if I haven’t told you enough — I love your blog — I may have to honor you by copying your idea of logging your exercise minutes and such. I just love it!!!

Keep up the great work!

Woooo for exercise! I know the feeling. I’m disappointed that my husband had so many freaking meetings today that he had to go in to work and I’m MISSING MY WORKOUT Today! GRRR! I’ll get one tomorrow and one thursday, but dangit! I wanted to workout TODAY! :D

My scale gets stuck, too!! And sometimes the numbers get bigger!! What is up with that? You are awesome–Thanks for sharing your journey!

My scale is stuck too, but I made a promise to myself that I would log the weight every day so I could try and figure out the natural rhythm of my body, so there is no ignoring it! You have a great attitude about it though.

If your body is showing the results of your hard work, then that matters a heck of a lot more than what the sale says! Great attitude!

I saw your comment on Charlotte’s site and saw you were in Cape Town! My dad and I were in S. A. a few years ago for 3 weeks! We stayed in J-Berg, the Kruger, and Cape Town!! It was a fabulous trip, everyone was so nice to us, and Cape Town is now my favorite ciry in the world!!

Yay! I’m all for telling the scale to stick it. And loose clothes are probably my favourite NSV, along with compliments and comments from people. Good on you.

Let’s see the new hair!
