Not so you’d notice…
This has got to be the coldest Spring Day in my lifetime! It is absolutely freezing! We had major storms over the weekend, even hail, which is unusual for our area.
The wind was so bad it snapped our carport in half. Fortunately no damage to the car, but we can’t get the truck out yet… and our builder is not answering his phone. Craig says he’ll work something out this evening. I hope so, I hate being stuck with no transport (he’s using my car).
In the mean time I’m keeping an eye on Hurricane Gustav… My heart is just sick about the fact that a lot of people may lose everything again, so soon after Katrina. Let’s hope the levees hold! If you’re anywhere near the path of the storm, good luck!

We went from 96 on Saturday to 50’s and 60’s for the next couple days lol. Shock to the ole system after a hot summer. My garden is unhappy with the weather change. Loves all the rain but its cold so it slows all the growing down *sigh*. I dont mind though as I am so ready for Fall. I function much better in cooler temps =0).

Oh you sneaky girl! I didn’t know you were back until this weekend! Im so glad, I’ve missed your posts a great deal.
It’s odd hearing you speak of spring, when we’re gearing up for fall. I guess it’s that whole hemisphere thing.
I want to hear more about you moving to the US. Where are you thinking of relocating?

I am have cold and rainy end of Summer going into Autumn here in Northern Ireland. Go figure!
