Last night speech moved me so much! Of course I only watched it this morning, since I wasn’t going to sit up from midnight to 5am to follow the events live…
You may be wondering why on earth I should care about who the next president of the USA will be. Well, there are two reasons:
1) The leadership of the most powerful nation on earth affects the rest of the world.
2) We will be moving to the USA in the near future and I would love Obama to be my president!
Yeah Hanlie! I’m a HUGE Obama fan myself, and thought his speech was incredibly powerful. He’s got my vote – and I’ll tell him you’re rooting for him, as well!

I’m thrilled to bits for you. and just a teeny weeny bit jealous. But then I live in God’s own so shouldn’t be so envious.

He’s totally got my vote, but I’m nervous about it. I can’t imagine what will happen if grandpa McCain gets elected. I will be embarrassed for the US if that happens.
