Can’t wait!
Posted on May 22, 2008 under By The Way... |The first thing I did this morning was to check and see who won American Idol. And I’m overjoyed that “my” idol won! I would definitely buy his album!
We get to see the finale and the result show tonight! Supper will be served at 6 pm and we’ll be ready by 7 pm for a marathon session… Woohoo!
Thank you all for your kinds comments to yesterday’s post. I have so much more to share with you in the weeks to come… I was going to start today, but it’s a gorgeous day outside and I’ve been lolling around in the Jacuzzi. We have to make the most of these nice days, because they are few and far between now.

LOL! Did you put that montage together yourself? It looks very nice. I haven’t gotten into American Idol this year, but I’m glad you’re happy.
I saw on the news that troops have been deployed in SA. I hope this helps the situation.

I was glad to see he won.. I was rooting for David A. to win though.. but in truth he won too.. those boys are set career wise regardless.. David A. has a lot of maturing to do and feeling comfortable in his own skin on the stage.. but for a 17 year old boy he handled it all with grace.. David C. is great.. what makes them both so likeable was that they both are humble and kind young men.. a rare treat to see these days.

I agree, I was also rooting for David Cook to win and was really happy. I don’t buy much music but said as we were watching it last night his is one CD I would buy.
He was my favourite from the start

I was so surprised when his name was announced…..totally shocked, actually! I wanted him to win - but I didn’t think he would.
I, too, will be purchasing his CD when it comes out - and I’m not even that much of a rock lover! There is just something about his voice….oh, and he has a lovely personality.
