I could have picked Elvis, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Tom Jones, Bob Dylan or Marvin Gaye, but I decided to share the #1 song of that year…

Wow. I think that actually brings back memories…Also, I wanted to say, I totally suck. I have a hard time getting out with the twins, so I asked DH to pick me up a postcard at his office gift shop. It was so ugly, I was sure I could find something better. Alas, that hasn’t happened, and meanwhile, I have misplaced the ugly one. I promise I will get one out ASAP. So sorry…

That music video was awesome! I watched it 3 times. I’m older than you are, so that song bring back memories of middle school. The music from the musical “Hair” was all the rage with my friends and me. I remember putting that album on the turntable and dancing around my bedroom. Thanks for the memories!

This is a great idea. I was born in 68 so I know there were some great songs from that time. Boy, how to choose? I’ll have to start checking some out and post a video too.

I love the video. I was 5 in 1969. My little brother was born that summer. I remember the moon launch.
