Not enough hours in the day!

Posted on Apr 24, 2008 under By The Way... |

Seriously! I am running around like a blue-arsed fly! At least I’m getting things done… but new things keep popping up all the time.

So, I’m well! I’m eating healthy fruits and salads. I wanted to make a smoothie yesterday, but the blender blew up in spectacular fashion and almost burned the house down. So no smoothies for me in the forseeable future. Of course I’m still having juice!

Unfortunately we’ve had to re-home one of our cats today. Bonnie was not doing well with us and we’ve had to find her a home where she can be the only “child”. I cried buckets!

I’ve written out my postcards and will post them tomorrow (another walk to the shops!). My pedometer fell off in the grocery store yesterday, sending the battery flying and thereby zeroing my steps for the week… No matter! I was telling Craig that the benefit of having one is that you definitely make an effort to walk more by parking further away, etc. I’m just terrified that it will fall into the toilet!

We seem to have most of our things ready for our visa appointment. We’ll see our attorney and our accountant on Tuesday for the balance of the stuff (I told you it was a mission!). And I found the perfect carry-on bag today for a very reasonable price. Did I mention that I was excited???

My google reader still has 150 items, so I’ll leave you with a little something to giggle about while I dig in…

So sorry about Bonnie. I have two & I would bawl if I had to give one up. Laughed about the pedometer!
I wore my first one on the waist band of my skirt. I went to the ladies & it fell in as I flushed! But you’re right, you do
make more effort to add those steps! I saw a poster in the subway about Delta’s non-stop from Capetown today & though
of you! Getting those postcards on the way!

Awww, poor Bonnie, but Im sure she will be happier in a better suited home. You inspired me yesterday and I went to our local organic grocer and bought 60 bucks worth of fruit, veggies, groovie skin and hair products. So now I can eat my salad and smell like one too! :)~

No blender!!! Aaaahhhh I would be going out of my mind! I’m so dependent on my blender and fruit juice maker it’s not even funny….and I need it with all the smoothies and fresh juices I make. Although my kids would love the thing to go…they don’t like artichoke and asparagus juice lol.

As for the cartoon, thanks for that I needed a little laugh to lighten the load of the day it was wonderful thank you! I wonder if we would ever get a chance to see that side of the mountain! Ok time to go finish cooking dinner for the family. :)

Personal trying to conceive help from a mother who’s been there :)

Cute cartoon! I’m so excited for your trip. I’ve always wanted to see Seattle and in turn my side of the border which would be British Columbia. Can’t wait to hear more about it as you ready yourself for the flight.
