Post Juice Feast Pics

Posted on Apr 22, 2008 under Juice Feasting |

Thank you for the amazing comments and compliments you’ve been showering on me! I feel so happy and blessed. It’s all good and healthy here in my world in the moment. I am light and unencumbered.

I was fooling around with the webcam and took some pictures. Positioning the camera was quite tricky initially… that is a look of concentration, not constipation!

At last, a smile!

Craig was lying on the bed reading, but decided to get in on the act and the result is this lovely picture!

Hanlie & Craig - pjf

I’m sorry I’ve been so scarce (on your blogs and mine!), but there are exciting things happening over here and I’m busy, busy, busy. I’ll let the cat out of the bag tomorrow…

I’ve walked about 5000 steps so far today and ended the day yesterday on just under 6000. A slowish start, but it all adds up!

Looking back at those pictures, I have a big favor to ask you guys… I need advice! What should I do with my hair? Grow it? Cut it? Blow dry it? It just looks a bit sad and flat like that, don’t you think? I need a hair intervention!

I love the pictures! You are so lovely (I love the one of you and Craig).

Being busy is good–so you miss a few bloggers here or there. That’s for when you’ve got the time to sit back and read. That’s what I’m doing now because I plan on spending the day in my garden and hopefully by the river for a walk.

Wow, the feasting is at an end. Hard to believe. I look forward to the rest of the journey and learning more from you.

The pic of you and Craig is so sweet!! As far as your hair… I think its pretty. I can’t wait til tomorrow to hear what your exciting news is!! If you think its flat maybe put in some velcro rollers and blow dry. It should give it a little more body, this is what I did when my hair was shorter.

Awe, I think the last picture is my favorite! Such a sweet picture and you look so happy.
Have you seen this site http://walkertracker.com/ it will help you track your steps and send you reminders to add them etc. I started using it until my pedometer stopped working (needs new battery).
    Have a great day! :)

Look at how beautiful you are! My gawd, those eyes!

It wouldn’t take you long to grow the front a bit and cut the back shorter so you have a cute blonde bob. I think that would look nice with your bone structure. But it doesn’t look bad now - I agree with Irish Mom, too.

  5. Daniele Says:

Well done!! You look fantastically beautiful and the picture with you and Craig is absolutely adorable.
    Kisses!

I adore that photo of you and Craig! You’re so pretty, Hanlie - and have THE most incredible eyes! I can see straight into your compassionate heart. :-)

Great pictures! Your health and happiness really come through. As for the hair thing, personally I think it looks great. I would kill for straight hair (mine looks like a perm gone terribly wrong). If you were going to cut it, Id only cut it a little, maybe just shape it up. Really it’s all about what makes you feel good. Dye it purple if that’s what makes you smile! :)

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Thank you for posting these pictures and I have to agree with everyone that my favorite is the last one and that you are amazing. I like the length of your hair. I liked it the other day when it was wispy on the sides, kind of flipping out a bit. So cute.

    xo

What a beautiful pic of you and your hubby!! That’s one to print and frame, don’t you think? Congratulations on completing your feast as well. I am so impressed that you stuck it out for 80 days!

  14. Lora Says:

You have very pretty hair and beautiful blue eyes! All you need is a bit of volume (my problem exactly so I can relate totally!) My hairdresser did this thing where she held each section of my hair up and then snuck her scissors in to make little snips mid way down. It didn’t change the length - just gave it volume and it worked!

And by the way - great job on your weight loss!!

Nice pics Hanlie and congrats on reaching the end of the juice feast!
Oh and the one of you and Craig is great - I love romantic pictures :)

As for your hair as some of the other comments said, I think that growing it our shoulder length, into a small bob would be great looking and still easy to manage.

  19. Lisa Says:

Hanlie you are so beautiful! Love the pic with you and Craig too. So sweet. I would def frame that one.

you look great and so happy! Im not a hair expert, but you could grow it just a little longer to frame your face and get some layers. I think it looks great now though!

  21. OS Says:

Lovely. Every one. Most especially the one with Craig. And I love your hair just as it is. But if you want a change, go for it. If you don’t like it, it’ll grow back. My favorite haircuts have always been the ones that I went for fearlessly. : )

  22. Jessica Says:

Hanlie you look so gorgeous! As for the haircuts I agree with heather. Or try some trendy shoulder length angled bob.

  23. Cammy Says:

Love the photos. I do believe I’d give up aother cup size for those gorgeous blue eyes! :)

  24. Heather Says:

Tell me about it, the blonde hair and blue eyes are too much! So beautiful!

  25. Twix Says:

    You’re a VERY pretty gal!! :D

  26. Trisaratops Says:

I’m going to leave all of my comments on one post, although they refer to many posts.
These photos are gorgeous - you’re glowing and you are beautiful! And your childhood photos are beautiful too! I too wish I could go back in time and tell myself that I wasn’t that fat - and to get it under control. Congratulations on finishing your juice feast. I applaud you for being able to recognize what is helpful and what isn’t. And you obviously had wonderful results - bravo! And finally, I can’t believe that you’re going to be in my neck of the woods in June - minutes away from me, not miles and oceans away. I hope you have a wonderful visit - and I’ll be peeking for you on the sidewalks. But not in a creepy way, I promise.
