My Bucket List
I’m filching this post from Nutmeg, who filched it from someone else! Filch-It-Friday is alive and well!

For those of you who don’t know, The Bucket List is a movie starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman in which they run around the world checking off items on their to-do lists before they kick the bucket. I think all of us have a bucket list somewhere in the back of our minds. Here’s mine, in no particular order:
1. Wear my hair long again, if only for a while.
2. Have a baby and be a good mother.
3. Live in the country and grow my own food organically.
4. See the aurora borealis.
5. Visit the ancient city of Petra.
6. Spend a year in Provence.
7. Win a big prize - the lottery would be nice.
8. Parachute (just once!)
9. Attend a taping of the Oprah Show.
10. See Victoria Falls.
11. Emigrate.
12. Do a road trip through the USA.
13. Reach and maintain my goal weight.
14. Radiate health and vitality all my life.
15. Own a kick-ass pair of boots.
16. Have my own horse.
17. Help and inspire lots of people to adopt healthier lifestyles.
18. Have a homebirth.
19. Write and publish a book.
20. Land in a jet fighter on the deck of an aircraft carrier (I realize that this is rather unrealistic, but it must be such a rush).
21. Send my child(ren) to a Waldorf (Rudolph Steiner) school.
22. Run a 10 km race.
23. Grow old with my beloved husband.
24. Walk the Camino de Santiago (Pilgrims Way) in Spain with my friend Lizana.
25. Meet and spend time with blogging buddies Daniele (who can show me Amsterdam) and Michelle.
26. Learn to fly a power kite.
27. Learn to ski (on land and water).
28. Have my own “green” home designed and built.
29. Live without fear of crime and violence.
30. Know my grandchildren.
31. See my children grow up into confident, well adjusted, happy adults.
32. Sail in the Mediterranean.
33. Do an advanced driver’s course.
34. Play golf.
35. Live without television (although we’d be visiting the neighbours when American Idol is on!).
36. Finish my website!
Now that’s not too much to ask, is it? Let me get back to #36 for now…

When you make it to the US, please leave time for a visit with me, ok? I’d love to meet you.
Great idea for the list. I may “filch” it as well!

I’m sorry if I posted a spoiler about AI!!! I wasn’t aware someone from across the world and weeks behind us with the progress of the show would see it. btw…I was a huge Taylor Hicks fan but he is definitely better in small venues and personal appearances. I was so disappointed in his album!
Good to hear from you!

Hey, your #22 is on my list too! I’ve tagged it for my 40th birthday goal. Only ten months left. Gotta get a bit more serious on that front. And hey, late congrats on passing the 40 mark. That’s outstanding!

I filched it from you… http://www.weight1day.com/2008/04/bucket-list.html
When you do the road trip through the US (something I also have on my bucket list and have been web-logging about for over two years) Make a stop in Albuqerque NM on historic Route 66 and I’ll show you the sights

I’m totally stealing this! Whahahaha
I don’t know what’s going on lately; the green juices don’t taste all that good to me anymore and well… to be honest, with only a few days left to go… I’m not sweating it. I can’t wait to eat TONS of salads though. I want some romaine lettuce SO badly!
Can’t stand the stuff in juice-form though!
I’m glad to know I’m not the only one with a temporary aversion of greens.
