My life in six words

I’ve been seeing this wonderful meme all over the place and finally Cammy has issued a blanket invitation to which I’m responding with alacrity!

You have to write a six-word sentence that best describes your life so far.  Here’s mine:

I take responsibility for my life.

This has been the most important breakthrough of my life. It means that I am no longer at the mercy of others, luck, or even my genes.  I am no longer a victim.

My happiness is my responsibility, not my husband’s, my mother’s, my friends’ or my future children’s.  I nurture myself, ask for what I need from my nearest and dearest and love unconditionally.  I choose how I react to the negative things in life.  If there is no wind, I can still row!

My health is my responsibility.  I am not giving it away to the advertisers, the food industry, the medical fraternity, the pharmaceutical companies, the government, the press and pop culture.  I do my research and am busy implementing the principles that I have accepted as truth, based on overwhelming evidence, into my life.   Germs don’t just attack me, I create an environment where they can flourish, or I feed my immune system so that they can’t flourish.  Cancer doesn’t “just happen”.  I am responsible for making sure that I don’t create a favourable environment for cancer.

My weight is my responsibility.  If I crave something, I don’t blame it for making me want it.  It doesn’t seduce me or call my name.  The scale is not my friend or my enemy.  It’s just an instrument of limited usefulness and significance.

My future is my responsibility.  Thoughts become things and I control what I think.  And let me tell you, the sky is the limit!

What are your six words?  Please let me know!

    Wonderful post!!

I would have to say your 6 words are ones I would have picked also. We have to take responsibilty not only for where we are going but where we have been and what we have done. Till we do that there is no hope for true long lasting change.

As for my 6 I would say:

I have the power to change.
    or
Change my mind, change my day.

Hope you are having a WONDERFUL week!

I really like that meme. I’ll have to think about it for myself but your choice is quite true for any of us.

    Have a beautiful day!

that is a great post! and so very true..so often I see those people who sit back and think life happenns to them, or that they cannot control anything, and that drives me crazy. so glad that you have taken control of your life and have taken responsibility for your health!
