Beauty is in the eye of the fork holder
Hubby was home for a few hours today, and since there was no food in the house (I’m going shopping tomorrow), we decided to head down to our favourite juice bar. But first I had to get ready and dressed.
We have a little ritual that plays out every time we go somewhere together. I would doll myself up, go and stand before him and ask: “Pretty?”
He would then take me in his arms and say, “Very pretty!”, kiss me and we’d be off.
Today he deviated from this script by saying, “Yes dear, but you’d be even prettier if I was looking at you over a plate of food!”
The poor man! He must have been starving! He’s eating so healthy now and has lost over 10 kg (22 pounds). He’s looking great!
